In the fifteen years I spent living in Alaska, I was privileged to witness many returns from the Pacific. Salmon returning from their long journey faced many obstacles, the most magnificent being the great Alaskan Brown Bear. This picture comes from one of my original drawings, the ring represents the circle of life that plays out constantly in the Great Land. I freehand cut my drawing out of 12ga steel with a plasma torch, gouge in all the details, and then airbrush paint it with acrylics.
