"Reflections" 23" x 13" x 2.5" Steel Mantle Piece $245.00 This piece I designed late one night sitting around a campfire. It is cut out of 12 ga. steel and all the details are gouged in with the torch. I then file and sand all the edges smooth and then paint it with acrylics. This piece has a unique light gathering effect and almost glows in low light conditions. "Reflections" can be felt in the illustrated poem from which it was born: Life reflects back to us in many ways, At night, alone with a campfire, we feel and relish its warming rays. Our thoughts wander along with the smoke on the breeze, Back to a time when the land lay so much more at ease. To a time when respect for life and freedom were still held on high, And on a night like this, you really didn't need to wonder why.
