Click Image For More Detailed Images "Near Quittin' Time" Limited Edition Of 30 25" x 41 3/4" x 3/4" Steel Picture $1600.00 I designed this piece after watching a local rancher mow his hay, it was like stepping back in time. Toward the end of the day, with the field almost done and the shadows growing long, my mind started to wander. I could almost feel the horses sense of the open barn door calling. And so this piece came to be "Near Quittin' Time". This picture comes from one of my original drawings. I freehand cut the drawing out of 12ga steel with a plasma torch, gouge in all the details, and then airbrush paint it. The background is foam board and is 1/2 inch behind the steel to keep the weight down. This gives the picture a 3 dimensional look, it is also air brushed.
