While driving up over McDonald pass out of Helena, Montana early one winter morning, I looked up and saw a big old bull moose crossing the tracks. I got to thinking about the fact that I was on the great divide and this piece starting working on me. Driving on I kept thinking about how that image represented so many things. How the tracks actually separated the wilderness from civilization and how we too all have great divides much the same in our lives. I couldn't stop thinking about it, so when I got home I started in on this piece. These introductory an issue prices are for a traditional classic ferric patina, variations may cost more.
